Ever have a day when you wake up and just feel good?

That type of morning when you wake up and your spine feels like it’s gonna have a permanent S-Curl?

You get out of bed and you see that you forgot to put away the leftovers the night before so you have to throw the food away AND you only have like $11 until Friday?

The kind of day when you go to check your text message and you dont have any. But you don’t have any missed calls either, which is strange until you realize that your phone service has been shut off.

And you STILL only have $11 until Friday.

The kind of day when you get ready for work and accidenly get toothpaste all over your shirt, but you took all your other shirts to the dry cleaners the week before, but you haven’t been able to get them out because up until you bought food for dinner and lunch yesterday you only had $25 until the following Friday. You ever have one of those days?

You ever have a day when your car breaks down a mile and a half from the office, but you can’t call your cube mate to pick you up on his way in because your phone has been cut off so you have to foot it the rest of the way?

You ever have a day when everything in the world seems wrong, you look at your watch and see that it aint even 8:30 yet?

I guess we’ve all had those days, but I think a better question to ask is…

You ever have a day when everything in the world seems wrong, you look at your watch and see that it aint even 8:30 yet, but you can still smile and know that God > all that?

Be A Fruit-Marcus

God is greater than myself, and that’s a hard thing to process.
And even when my soul is convicted I’m still not doing my best.
We giggle when someone gets called fruity, but in all realness bearing fruit is the ultimate sign that you’re following God’s will.

So I’ll be fruity until my heart stops if it can keep just one soul from Hell.

I used to think that being fruitful had everything to do w/laying down and spreading my seed.
I was close, but no cigar.
Being fruitful means I do lay down; but not my body w/her body.
No, this requires me laying down my apprehensions.  Laying down my fear and trepidation, and turning off selfishness and greed.

See to really bear fruit. To bear that good fruit! Seeds must be planted in many!
Not every seed makes and apple. But the more seeds planted, the more fruit that is harvested.
And all of that fruit is pointless if somebody can’t be fed from it.  You may as well throw it in the ocean if your neighbor is still hungry.

So bear your fruit and share with others.  We’re talking kindergarten rules. If you don’t share, then you don’t get recess. It’s just that simple.

Thursday. Take some time and zone out!

Listen to this first verse; it describes how we live today. Remember you don’t have to be impressed by anyone or have to impress anyone, for that matter. God loves you, regardless. Or, God loves you in spite of…

This is FIRE!!! Just because we’re saved, it doesnt mean we are soft. Christ was a man’s man. Real talk. You can’t be soft walking everywhere like he did. You can’t be soft and be homeless. You can’t be soft call a crowd of men snakes to their face.

Please, don’t get it twisted. Being a Christian means you have to actually be HARDER than the rest. It takes much more to go against the grain.

Swoope- Applause

Sometimes we forget God > our desires and stumble. Its human nature. The Gospel is, if anything, a redemption story. One man, perfect, taking on the imperfectness of the whole world. Past. Present. Future.

He who came to fulfill the law, which no other could. He knew that we would stumble, so he created the comma for us.
